How can i hide my number on telegram

Hiding Your Phone Number on Telegram is very easy. I just followed the steps to hide my number on telegram.

1. Launch Telegram: Open the Telegram app on your phone or tablet.
2. Access Settings:
   • Android: Tap the three horizontal lines in the top left corner. This opens the main menu.
   • iPhone: Tap the gear icon in the bottom right corner. This opens the Settings menu.
3. Navigate to Privacy:
   • In the Settings menu, locate “Privacy and Security.” It might be under a section titled “Account.”
4. Find Phone Number Settings:
   • Within “Privacy and Security,” look for an option labeled “Phone Number” or similar.
5. Control Who Sees Your Number:
   • Tap “Phone Number” to access the settings for your phone number visibility. Here, you’ll see the option “Who can see my phone number.”
6. Choose Visibility Level:
   • Select your preferred level of privacy:
     • Nobody: This hides your phone number from everyone on Telegram.
     • My Contacts: This makes your number visible only to the people you have saved in your phone’s contacts.
7. Refine Discoverability (Optional):
   • If you choose “Nobody,” an additional setting called “Who can find me by my number” will appear. This allows you to control who can discover your profile even if they have your number:
     • Everybody: Anyone with your number can find your Telegram profile by searching for your phone number.
     • My Contacts: Only your saved contacts can find you using your phone number.
8. Save Changes:
   • Selecting your desired options will automatically save the changes.
